Arinze comes from a family of entrepreneurs whose resilience shaped his passion for building businesses. His grandmother grew a trading business in Nigeria that supported her eight children’s education, and his father built a successful immigration law firm in Houston. Inspired by this legacy, Arinze is motivated to carry forward the same spirit of calculated risk-taking to create lasting impact and value.
Arinze began his career at ExxonMobil, where he advanced through planning and engineering roles in the petrochemical and polymer divisions. He led teams, implemented cost-saving initiatives, and solved complex production challenges. He went on to strengthen his investment expertise at Renewity, where he supported infrastructure for investing in renewable energy GPs and at Kapor Capital, where he worked on mission-driven venture investments in energy & sustainability. Today, he combines this blend of entrepreneurial spirit, technical expertise, and investing experience to build enduring businesses.
He earned his MBA in Finance from the Wharton School. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University, graduating cum laude and earning induction into Omega Chi Epsilon and Tau Beta Pi.
